A huge part of our mission at Castle Dreams is to help the families of autistic children to be able to provide the needed and ongoing therapies that these wonderful children deserve. The cost of these important therapies is not often covered by insurance. The increasing expense of a family budget is a home. The added cost to provide a safe learning environment for their child is even greater. Greatly reducing this cost of living, helps to have the extra funds to provide the life changing therapies that help these growing children to succeed in life.
Through the donation of properties that may be vacant or abandoned, inherited properties, divorced properties, and others, help us to provide these families directly. We transform those houses into the safe, clean learning environment that is so badly needed. As a 501 (C)-(3) Charity, Castle Dreams is very pleased to be in the position to offer the maximum IRS tax write off possible to these good- hearted donors.
Automobiles:
The second biggest family expense is transportation. Automobiles that are donated to Castle Dreams are not sold at auction as most non-profit organizations do. The automobiles that are donated to Castle Dreams go to the mechanic for assurance that they are safe and reliable for the use of the families with a child on the autism spectrum directly! They are certainly not new cas, however they importantly help free up the funds for parents to be able to provide the therapies and care that so greatly enhances the lives of these children.
